《麻麻煩煩麻鬼煩》講述主角童年時與嫲嫲的生活碎事，劇中借由一幕幕驚慄、懸疑的情景以及幽默惹笑的場面，述說出他與嫲嫲、他與家人朋友、甚至他與自己的心靈對話。演員霍嘉珩放膽一試，挑戰自我，自編自導自演，把獨角戲改編成獨演音樂劇，以另類方式細說嫲孫之情。
